Sales & Marketing in 2007
What are your sales and marketing plans for 2007? Where will they be
generated? Who will invest in you and your company? Growth won't just
happen and there is no guarantee that what worked to generate sales
this year will result in sales next year. There is much talk, and
more and more proof, that traditional selling strategies don't work
as well as they used to. And there are more competitors vying for
each available sales dollar.
Look closely at what you have been doing and how well it is, or isn't
working. Think about what new initiatives might yield better results
and discard low
performing strategies. As you move forward, keep written records of
successes and failures. Trying to remember a year from now what
really worked will be, at best, an approximation.
